03/04/2005: "WOOHOO"
Gone. Vamoose. Outta here. Bye-bye, baby!
My book is gone. Is it finished? Well, only kinda, sorta...until I sit down to attack revisions.
BUT...until then, my mind is free and my butt is no longer permanently affixed to my office chair. It's a gorgeous, sunny Friday afternoon and I'm FREE. I believe there's a reservation in Margaritaville with my name on it.
And then I've got this great idea for a book that I want to make some notes on....Sometimes I think writing really is a sickness.

Congratulations, Jen!!! There's nothing quite as thrilling as that finished-the-book euphoria.

It IS a sickness! It is, it is, IT IS! I can't take a day off anymore. I don't know how. I launch from one thing into another and if I'm not writing I'm sleeping! It was supposed to be sunny today and I was going to take advantage and spend all day outdoors, sigh. But since it's cloudy and muggy, IT'S TIME TO WORK SOME MORE! LOLOLOL! Congrats on being done - for now!

Congrats on getting to the (sort of) end! Reaching the end of a project is always a nice feeling. Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks, Rhonda and Alyssa--it is a good feeling.
Alison, it's definitely a sickness. I went running yesterday morning and had breakfast afterwards with a friend. I had to talk about that book and the next one and an idea that I had for another one. Somebody smack me up side the head.
