Instead, I compensate. From almost any spot in my house, I can hear running water. We have a fountain in the foyer audible, albeit faintly, from my bedroom. Outside my office is a garden pond with a small waterfall and there's a fountain on the back deck. And my screen saver was taken in Baja last year. Some days it's harder to compensate than others.
