But it's interesting and I'm enjoying it. 
I'd planned on maybe getting my hair done this afternoon, but our secretary at work is out with a sick child so I'll answer the phones at work instead and then drive car pool to soccer after work--which is all okay. 
I'll go eat lunch with my daughter at her school and I've already had a lovely day. I've got my family and my home and the usual chaos of our lives. I haven't lost my home to a hurricane or its aftermath. I'm not having to evacuate and leave most of my stuff behind and not know whether I'll come back to it or come back to nothing. I'm feeling very blessed and sending comforting thoughts to all those people still recovering from Katrina and now fleeing Rita's wrath.
