01/25/2006: "The Sun'll Come Out Tomorrow"

I'm so excited...we're going to see the musical Annie tonight at The Fox! It's our anniversary on Friday so we're celebrating early. And yes, we're taking The Girl along. Hey, we passed the two decade mark a couple of years ago (What? How can that be? I'm sure you're thinking I must've been a child-bride! razz) and if we left her home, we'd just keep looking at one another and commenting on how much she'd enjoy it. hehe I like to dress up and I like to eat out and I adore The Fox, so it should be a great time!

And I'm going to have that song running in my head all day...the sun'll come out tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow... big grin

I think it's perfectly fine to celebrate an anniversary and include the child(ren) - thank goodness you are past the Chuckie Cheez stage! I am sure the fact that you were married longer than she was on this earth, is important to her, too! wink

"Some men admit they avoid confrontation (about breaking up) because they’re afraid we’ll cry. Of course we’ll cry; we cry at Hallmark commercials. What they don’t understand is that we’re not crying because of them, we’re crying because now we have to get naked in front of someone else.”
