Here’s one for you. I used to work for Southern Living magazine customer service. I would have people call from the North, and comment “my, you sure have a southern accent”. Hello, you did call Southern Living not Northern Living. Don’t ‘cha think it would sound just a little funny is if I sounded like a person from the north saying “Southern Living”? :happy2: I always said “thank you”.

I’ve lived in the south for 20 years now and I still don’t get some of the phrases. Every once in a while I’ll run into someone and I swear they’re speaking another language. It’s pretty rare though. At the moment I’m raising 2 very southern girls so…
